CHEBOYGAN COUNTY -- State Police say 30-year-old Howard Keshick of Indian River walked into the woods at 6:00 a.m. Thursday to hunt deer with a muzzle-loader. He says he was in there for several hour before he realized he was lost. Keshick had a cell phone with him and he called family. He gave them his approximate location. The phone was equipped with a GPS locator and a Coast Guard helicopter finally found him in a section of woods not accessible by car. Howard Keshick was treated at the hospital with mild hypothermia.
