Does time affect weight gain?

If you eat at night, are you more likely to gain weight? Researchers were leaning towards yes at first. But a Swedish study found obese women reported eating more at night than women of normal weight, but the study ultimately concluded the night eaters were consuming more calories overall. So, the answer is no; it doesn't matter what time of day or night you eat, weight gain only happens if you bring in more calories than you burn.
