EAST JORDAN -- Tad Malpass, the Vice President of East Jordon Iron Works, says they will have to lay off 80 more employee's come January 5th. Back in October, 41 people were laid off. Malpass blames the cuts on slowing demand in the housing industry and the heavy duty truck and trailer business. Besides job cuts the company will also reduce production hours from one and a half shifts down to only one full time shift.
