Latest local news, weather and high school sports for Northern Michigan

More than $500,000 is going to be spent to support michigan's next great entrepenuers, and almost $150,000 of it will be spent right here in Northern Michigan.

The money from a grant from the Michigan State Univeristy Center for Community and Economic Development will help encourage entrepeunuers and investors in Northern Michigan to compete in a global economy.

If you want to learn more a workshop will be held Janurary 27 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. at the Hagerty Center at Northwestern Michigan College.
