ATLANTA -- Crews were called to a home early Tuesday morning on Lakeside Drive in Briley Township just outside of Atlanta. When firefighters arrived, they found only the living room engulfed in flames. The rest of the home suffered extensive smoke damage. Two people were inside at the time. The fire chief says one person did not make it out alive. The other was taken to Otsego Memorial Hospital in Gaylord with non-life threatening injuries.
