MANISTEE -- Health officials suspect the Norovirus for making more than two dozen people sick at an area restaurant. The out break affected about 30 people who ate at the Portage Point Inn of Manistee over Thanksgiving. Health officials say early investigations show symptoms similar to those of the Norovirus. Victims complained of a flu like illness that started the day after they ate there and lasted for about 5 days. Health officials are still awaiting official test results and are not sure where the virus originated with an employee or a customer.
