Dustin Hungerford was charged for operating and maintaining a meth lab, and for possession and intent to deliver methamphetamine
On November 13th police got a call about a wallet being stolen from a car outside a Boyne City store. An investigation lead police to 27-year-old Dustin Hungerford's apartment at the Parkview apartment complex. Inside the apartment they found marijuana, chemicals and equipment used in the creation of methamphetamine, the powdered drug, as well as homemade weapons. Dustin Hungerford was arrested and charged for operating and maintaining a meth lab, and for possession and intent to deliver methamphetamine. Another resident at the apartment, 31-year-old Elizabeth Locker, faces similar drug charges, larceny charges for stealing the wallet and other charges. Locker was arrested in Cass County and is being transferred back to Charlevoix Wednesday for arraignment.
