There is a tooth-friendly chocolate on display in Belgium. The treats are produced by a Zurich, Switzerland company. They are not sugar-free, but they do not cause tooth decay. The chocolate has been approved by tooth-friendly international, a non-profit organization which works to improve oral health. The secret ingredient is a type of sugar called ismaltulose. It's similar to sucrose, but does not have the harmful acidity levels that can lead to tooth decay. And it passes the true test, candy-loving kids!
