Body identified in car fire case

GLEN ARBOR -- According to the Leelanau County Sheriff's Department a passerby called about a van on fire off Cheney Road in Glen Arbor around 10:00 a.m. Sunday. The Undersheriff says when the fire was extinguished they found the remains inside. An autopsy revealed that 50 year-old Larry Higgins of Honor had a heart attack. Deputies are still investigating how the car fire started.
