New Hope Shelter in Cadillac opens doors to the public
It's an open house of a different kind in Wexford County. The New Hope Shelters of Cadillac currently operate four emergency shelters in the community. Three of the four homes serve families who can stay for anywhere from 30 to 90 days. The fourth is open to men for up to two weeks at a time. Shelter workers say Sunday's open house is an opportunity to show the community what services are available, and how there are people in their own communities in need of help.
