Crews were busy removing the 30 foot tall concolor fir Thursday morning at Northwestern Michigan College's University Center Campus. The college donated the tree to help downtown Traverse City celebrate the season. The tree was loaded up for its relocation to Cass and Front Streets. The community is invited to take part in a tree lighting ceremony. It will take place Friday November 28th from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. And the event will include the arrival of Old Saint Nick himself!
