International Bridge between Sault Ste. Marie Michigan and Canada
Officials with the International Bridge in Sault Sainte Marie are considering increasing the fare by as much as a dollar starting in April. The rate increase must be approved by the bridge's executive board, which has members in both Michigan and Ontario, Canada. There will be public meetings around the state throughout December to gather input.
The hearings are scheduled for:
7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 2, at the Holiday Inn, 208 St. Mary's River Drive, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario
7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 3, at the Ramada Plaza Hotel - Ojibway, 240 W. Portage Ave., Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan
and 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 4, at the MDOT Lansing Transportation Service Center, 3101 Technology Blvd., Lansing, Michigan.
