A former Northern Michigan jailer has pled guilty to criminal sexual conduct charges.
Jack Wartella was originally charged with three counts of first degree criminal sexual conduct involving a minor. Thursday the former Luce County Jailer accepted a plea deal to drop the charges from first degree to fourth degree. Wartella will have to register as a sex offender for 25 years and is expected to serve one to two years in prison. Sentencing will take place on December 16th.
