A man has died after after losing control of his vehicle and hitting a tree in Mecosta County.
Sunday morning on 105th Avenue near 1 Mile Road in Hinton Township, Investigators say Dale Hansen was heading north on 105th Avenue when he lost control and hit a tree. Hansen and one of his two passengers were taken to the hospital. Over night Hansen died from his injuries. The Sheriff's Office says alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
