Roy Roach is accused of murdering Seth Tamlin in Mackinac County
A Mackinac County teen is dead and the man accused of murdering him is behind bars. Troopers say the shooting happened at an apartment on US-2 in Mackinac County's Moran Township just before midnight Tuesday evening. Investigators say Seth Tamlin was shot by Roy Roach and that the two men knew each other. Roach was arraigned Wednesday and charged with three counts: second degree murder, manslaughter and felony firearms. Roy Roach is being held in the Mackinac County Jail on a $1 million bond. Roach's next court date is scheduled for November 5, and he could face up to life in prison if convicted of second degree murder.
