State officials are coming to northern Michigan to get public input on Michigan's plan to restore and protect the Great Lakes.
PETOSKEY -- Lieutenant Governor John Cherry, and the Michigan office of the Great Lakes and Michigan United Conservation Clubs will be in Petoskey Monday night to discuss a plan to restore and protect the Great Lakes. Officials say it's critical to create a plan and this plan in particular addresses the unique issues affecting wildlife and fisheries in coastal communities. Monday night's meeting takes place at North Central Michigan College's Library and Conference Center and begins at 7:00 p.m. and is open to the public.
