Woman arrested for child endangerment and drunk driving

A deputy says he just finished investigating an accident when a car sped by at 94 miles an hour. When he caught up, he found the car weaving on the road.

A woman is arrested on drunk driving and child endangerment charges. The incident happened just before 11:30 Saturday night east of Kingsley on M-113. A deputy says he just finished investigating an accident when a car sped by at 94 miles an hour. When he caught up, he found the car weaving on the road. When the driver pulled over, a test found the 33-year-old Kingsley woman to have a blood alcohol level of almost three times the legal limit. Police found the drivers 10-year-old child in the car. The driver was arrested on drunk driving and child endangerment charges. A malicious destruction of property charge was added after the deputy says the woman tried to kick a patrol car window out on the way to Munson Medical Center.
