A Michigan State Fire Marshall is on the scene to try to find out what caused a Beaver Island business to burn to the ground.

The Fire happened around five o'clock Wednesday afternoon at Gillespie Enterprises at corner of King's Highway and Barney Lake Road.

When fire crews arrived the pole building was completely engulfed in flames. The building housed a construction business in the sixty by 84 foot building.

The owners say the building is a total loss and that the fire marshal will be there Friday to determine a cause.
