INDIAN RIVER -- The January thaw is forcing a Cheboygan County community to cancel a weekend event.
The Mid-Union Sled Haulers sled dog race was supposed to debut in Indian River Saturday and Sunday. The organization rescheduled the sled races for Feb. 23-24.
Indian River will celebrate its 3rd Annual Winterfest on Burt Lake Jan. 25-27.
