ISABELLA COUNTY -- Kayla Bonkowski, the 19-year-old Central Michigan University student accused of poisoning her roommate's ice tea with bleach is back in jail after her bond was revoked on Tuesday.

Bonkowski was reportedly seen at a bar at the same time as the roommate she is accused of trying to poison, both violations of her bond, authorities said.

A motion from the Isabella County Prosecutor's Office to revoke Kayla Bonkowski's $20,000 bond was granted by a judge Tuesday.

Isabella County Principal Trial Attorney Mark Kowalczyk tells 7&4 News that request was made after the victim told police that she saw Bonkowski at the Wayside Central Bar in Mount Pleasant.

Kowalczyk says Bonkowski's bond prohibited her from having contact with the victim, consuming alcohol, or entering establishments that serve alcohol.

Police records and investigation show that the incident happened on Nov. 17, 2012.  Police say Bonkowski put bleach in her roommate's drink after the two had gotten into a fight over dirty dishes. Bonkowski's roommate was treated for medical issues and later released.

Bonkowski faces a felony charge of poisoning and could face up to 15 years in prison if convicted. The Isabella County Prosecutor's Office tells 7&4 News Bonkowski's next court appearance will be on Feb. 4, 2013 for her preliminary hearing.
