GAYLORD -- A large storage barn at a Gaylord golf course is destroyed after a fire ripped thru it Sunday afternoon.
Witnesses tell us that fire started just after 3:00pm in the storage barn at the Natural Golf Course located on West Otsego Lake Drive in Gaylord.
7&4 News is told that the barn was fully engulfed and that black smoke could be seen in the sky, from more than ten miles away.
The storage barn held more than 50 golf carts and other equipment for the golf course. The fire was under control by 4:30 Sunday afternoon but fire crews remained on the scene putting out hot-spots.
