GRAND TRAVERSE CO. -- Fire crews are battling a blaze at a rental home in Green Lake Township.
Calls went out to the crews around 9 am to respond to the cottage on Lake Avenue.
No one was in the home at the time of the fire. Because of the home's distance from the road, fire departments had to bring in tankers to pump water down the street where the house is located.
The home is considered a total loss.
