Man arrested for domestic violence hid from police in shower

MASON COUNTY -- A Manistee man is facing several charges after police say he assaulted a victim while driving in the car.

State police say they arrested 35 year-old Jason Lee Brady on Friday. Police say Brady and the victim were driving on Fountain Road near US-31 in Mason County when Brady started to attack the victim.

Fortunately the victim was able to stop the car and get help but Brady took off from the scene. Police tracked him down at a nearby house, where they found him hiding in a shower. He was arrested.

The victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries.

Brady is facing charges of Domestic Violence, Third Offense and Illegal Entry. His bond is set at $5,000 dollars cash.
