Lake effect locations tack on a few more inches Saturday night, and an Alberta Clipper will bring scattered snow showers to everyone come Sunday.

The E. U.P. and Lake Michigan shoreline are looking to add to snowfall totals as we head overnight into Sunday.

Leelanau, Benzie, and Manistee counties-lake effect snow advisory until 5pm SUN due to 2-5" new snow, low visibilities, and slick roads overnight, and another 2-4" of accumulation Sunday.

Mason & Oceana counties-lake effect snow advisory from 1am -1pm SUN due to 2-5" snowfall possible, low visibilities, and slick roads.

As we head throughout your day on Sunday, we may see a few peeks of sun at times, but we'll see a lot of clouds and scattered snow showers across the area as a fast-moving low pressure system comes through. Most will pick up between 1-3 inches, but we could see more in lake effect locations (Leelanau, Benzie, Manistee, Mason, and Ocena counties-reminder your advisories continue into your day Sunday.) Winds will shift during the day from the SW to NW, at 5-15mph. Wind chills will be from around 5 to 10 below at times.

Luce Co-lake effect snow warning from 10am SUN - 7pm MON due to around a foot of snowfall during that time-the highest near Lake Superior. Winds gusting around 30mph will cause low visibilities and drifting snow.

As we head throughout the workweek, we'll see high temps get back up into the 20s and 30s, and we'll see a little more sunshine. Punxsutawney Phil is calling for Spring - but he's right less than 40% of the time, so don't get your hopes too high!
