KENT CO. -- A West Michigan man who murdered a woman from Kingsley won't be eligible for release from prison until he is at least 92 years old.

Michael Piranian was sentenced today in Kent County Circuit Court to 30 to 100 years behind bars.

Piranian set a Kent County home on fire in March. 24-year-old Kori VanHulle was trapped inside and died.

According to the Kent County Assistant Prosecutor, Piranian spoke at sentencing and said he didn't regret a thing and that "she deserved it".
