Name of victim in tree-cutting accident released

ONAWAY, MICH. (AP) -- A Presque Isle County man is dead after a timbering accident.

Christopher Ryan Cole, 23, of Onaway died Friday.

Emergency crews responded to the accident in Onaway around 9:30am Friday but weren't able to save him. No other details are being released at this time.
