BOYNE CITY, MI -- Firefighters were called out to a fire at the Lakeview Village Mobile Home Park on North Lake Street in Boyne City on Wednesday night.

The fire burned a mobile home in the park.  The residents were home at the time of the fire, but all made it out safely.  Neighbors on both sides of the home were evacuated because firefighters feared the blaze would spread.

The flames fully engulfed the mobile home and blew out the windows of the home.  They also burned a nearby tree.

The owners believe the fire started in their air conditioning unit, but no official cause has been confirmed.
