BLISS TWP. -- Approximately 20 acres were burned in a brush fire this afternoon in Bliss Township.
The fire took place on Panby Road and one home was burned.
No injuries have been reported and the cause has not been determined.
Workers were trying to cool the ground off by digging to put cool soil on top, as the ground was completely charred.
Responding units were Carp Lake, Pellston, Mackinaw City, Readmond Friendship Cross Village and the Emmet County Sheriff's Office
