UPDATE:August 31, 2:30 p.m: The body of 16-year-old Brian Rolston, a Lake Leelanau resident, has been recovered from Lake Michigan.

Police say his body was found in six-feet of water, about 30 yards out of the mouth of the Leland Harbor.

Coast Guard crews spent the night looking for the teen, and continued the search today. Yesterday's gale force winds out of the Southwest created a dangerous swimming environment. There were 25-35 mile per hour winds and a very strong current as well.

The Coast Guard, Sheriff and Fire Department conducted the search.
