TRAVERSE CITY -- Travelers now have a quick way to get from Northern Michigan down to the southeast.

After a five year hiatus, Cherry Capitol Airport in TC will offer a daily, non-stop, Delta flight to Atlanta.

The first incoming flight to TC is already sold out, and airport officials say Delta is predicting good numbers for the summer.

AIrport Director, Kevin Klein, is excited about bringing new people to N. MI, and hopes tourism will get a boost from all of the travelers going through Delta's main hub in Atlanta.

For now, the flight will be seasonal (ending in August) and costs around $380.
