A tree fell on a pizza delivery car during the storm Monday night.

Crews are cleaning up after powerful storms moved across northern Michigan Monday night.

Winds moving as fast as 50mph created a mess for many and caused several power outages.

Consumers Energy crews will be working throughout the day to restore power to several thousand customers. According to Consumers, those without power should expect to be back up and running today.

Cherryland Electric reported several outages in the Grawn area of Grand Traverse County after about ten trees fell. At last update around this afternoon, only 3 Cherryland Electric customers were still without power.

Presque Isle Electric and Gas Co-op reports that as of 4:00 pm, approximately 2,300 households are without power. They will be working to restore power though this afternoon and evening.

It was a scary moment for one pizza delivery man off of Blair Town Hall Road near the fairgrounds in Grand Traverse County. A tree fell on his car while he was inside. We are told by witnesses there were no injuries.

In Missaukee County there are also several trees down and roof damage reported on two downtown buildings.

Storm team meteorologist, Joe Charlevoix says we can expect some more stormy weather in parts of northern Michigan Tuesday.

A few storms may arrive late morning/early afternoon with a slight chance that a storm or two could be severe, but widespread severe weather is not anticipated. Very warm, humid, with highs well into the 80's to near 90F. Heat Index will feel more like low-90's in some spots.
