TRAVERSE CITY -- More people die every year from drug poisoning deaths than they do in car crashes.  It's startling a trend that is happening across the country and in northern Michigan.  Catholic Human Services in Traverse City has a program aimed at educating people on prescription drug abuse and ways to help others who have a problem.

The prevention drug abuse program also looks at ways to properly dispose of the drugs and what ones   Marybeth Novak, the program coordinator sat down with 7&4's Melissa Smith to talk about the problem that's taking place right here in northern Michigan.
