LUDINGTON -- Sean Phillips was sentenced Tuesday afternoon to a minimum of 10 years for unlawful imprisonment of his daughter, Katherine.

Phillips was found guilty in the trial of the 4-month-old late April.

The body of Baby Kate, as she's come to be known, has never been found. Police are confident that Phillips knows the location of the body.

Police say the investigation is "officially transitioning to a Homocide investigation" and that they "remain focused and intent on providing justice for 'Baby Kate'." They believe that through the evidence from this trial, as well as new evidence and information being developed, there will be additional charges in this case.

Police continue to say they don't believe Ariel Courtland had anything to do with Baby Kate's disappearance.
