One man was arrested following a boating accident on Lake Bellaire Sunday night.

Antrim County Sherrif's Office recieved a 911 call from a woman saying she was stranded with 5 other people after the boat she was riding   had overturned and started sinking, leaving all of the passengers in the water. The call was lost before the woman could give her exact location but dispatch was able to get a location from GPS on the cell phone.

The accident occured near Fisherman's Paradise road at the North end of Lake Bellaire. Fire departments from both Bellaire and Alden helped rescue the boaters. No injuries were reported, but all of the boaters had been drinking.

Derek Banfield, the operator of the boat, was arrested for OWI and taken to the Antrim County Jail.
