CRYSTAL FALLS -- UpNorthLive Facebook fans voted to hear more about an upcoming retreat for moms and their daughters.

This is the inaugural year for this special getaway at Lake Ellen Camp.  It's geared toward helping moms and daughters reconnect.

You can bond while getting creative with crafts, boating, testing your skills on a climbing wall, archery, enjoying nature with trail rides and it wouldn't be camp without the campfire songs!

The mother/daughter retreat will take place May 4-6.  The cost is $69 for adults and $50 for children 12 and under.  There is a minimum age of 7-years-old and no childcare will be available.  There are scholarships for families in need as well.  You can register May 4 from 6-7pm.  The retreat ends Sunday at 11am.

Fathers don't fret - there is also a camp for you and your sons!  The Father/Son fishing retreat is starting on May 25.

Lake Ellen Camp is located at 212 Narrow Way in Crystal Falls.  You can find out more information by clicking here or calling 906-542-3529.
