TRAVERSE CITY -- The Relay for Life 24-hour cancer walk in Grand Traverse County might be a few months away but now is the time to set up sponsorships. That's why during 7&4 News Today, Bryon Pettigrew, a committee member with Relay for Life explained this year's process for sponsorship.
Pettigrew says that The American Cancer Society has set a goal of 54 teams for this year to raise $82,000. Sponsorship levels can range as low as $100 to more than $5,000. Sponsors can represent not only a business or company but a person and family member as well.
The Relay for Life Grand Traverse is set for June 9th and 10th at the Grand Traverse County Civic Center.
