TRAVERSE CITY -- Republican presidential hopefuls Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum will be in northern Michigan on Sunday, to make campaign stops in Traverse City.
Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney is holding a grass roots rally on Sunday. Romney is fighting for a win in Michigan with the latest polls showing him in a virtual tie with Rick Santorum.
The rally will take place Sunday from 6:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. in the Park Place Dome at the Park Place Hotel. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. As of 4:00pm on Saturday, the rally is completely booked and no more reservations are being taken.
Rick Santorum will also be in Traverse City Sunday to hold a free, grassroots event at Streeter's Center.
The event will take place at the Streeter's Center, located at 1669 South Garfield Avenue in Traverse City. Doors open at 2:30pm and the event starts at 3:30pm. The event is free and no reservations are required.
