YMCA Youth Working Off Weight (WOW) will start a new session beginning January 11.
TRAVERSE CITY, MI --
The Grand Traverse Bay YMCA and Munson Medical Center dietitian Diane Roach, R.D., offer this program to help young people ages 10 -17 adapt to healthier lifestyles. The program includes education on nutrition, supervised fun exercise and a YMCA membership for the family.

YMCA personal trainer Rebecca Galsterer leads participants each week with a wide variety of activities including racquetball, pickle ball, tennis and basketball. She also teaches them how to use the fitness equipment and monitor their heart rates.

Cost is $392 for a four-month program. This includes YMCA membership for the entire family. Current YMCA members pay $272 for four months. Scholarship assistance may be available.
