Free dental check-up on December 23rd
CHARLEVOIX, MI -- UpNorthLive's Facebook fans voted to hear more about a local dentist who wants to take a bite out of bad teeth this holiday season.
Beacon Dental in Charlevoix will examine your teeth for free on Friday, December 23rd.
It's their new program called "Dentistry from the Heart," where all day on the 23rd, they'll take a look at community member's teeth who may have trouble paying dental bills.
"I decided this year, I wanted to find a way we could, get a hold of, use our skills that we have and the team that we have and touch as many lives as we possibly can this Christmas season, so we came up with the Dentistry from the Heart idea, and this will allow us to maybe take care of over 100 people this day," said Dr. Michael A. Sullivan, DDS, of Beacon Dental.
Beacon Dental will begin looking at community member's teeth at 7 am on December 23rd and we're told they will clean and examine teeth until everybody has been taken care of.
