Graceland Fruit visits Japanese company

TRAVERSE CITY -- A Northern Michigan manufacturer says months of restructuring the company is paying off.

Graceland Fruit, a dried fruit processor in Frankfort saw sales up 300% in some areas this year. The company's new CEO, Alan Devore says they have focused on global customers and new products.

Devore traveled with Governor Snyder's campaign to Asia where they solidified a partnership with Otsuka Foods in Japan.

Governor Snyder's goal is to double Michigan's exports over the next five years.
