GAYLORD, MI -- Members of the Michigan Postal Workers Union picketed outside of Congressman Dan Benishek's Gaylord office Tuesday afternoon.
More than 50 people were at the rally, urging the congressman to support House Resolution 1351.
That's a resolution that union members say would help aid in the current postal service financial crisis.
"What that would do is stop this funding nightmare Congress created for the post office, keep our post offices open, keep our processing plants, and go back to being the best post office in the world," said President of the Michigan Postal Workers Union John Marcotte.
