Hospitals, schools starting to see flu
TRAVERSE CITY -- It's just about that time of year again, flu and cold season, and doctors are urging just about everybody to get the flu shot.
The Grand Traverse County Health Department is reporting that about 1% of doctor's visits in the area are for the flu. While it's early, health officials say it should be a light to normal year for the virus.
