Labor day is considered the final hurrah of summer. And with this last holiday weekend comes an influx of tourists who are trying to squeeze in a few more days of vacation before fall hits.
The increased foot traffic is welcomed by northern Michigan businesses owners, who say this year was bigger than ever.
