HARBOR SPRINGS -- The Little Traverse Bay Humane Society in Harbor Springs is trying to find homes for the last remaining wild dogs they got  from the Bahamas.

Five puppies, all under a year old are the last of 16 dogs sent  here before the Hurricane season. In all some 88 were sent to humane societies across the country for adoption.

They are called potcake dogs because they used to eat leftovers from pots that are used for cooking in the Bahamas. The Human Society says they love people but will need training like all other puppies.

They have had their shots and have been checked out by a vet
