Irene hit near Cape Lookout, North Carolina Saturday morning and now the outer bands of the category-one storm are starting to move northward into Virginia.

Irene is expected to cause trouble all the way up to boston this weekend, hitting parts of New England and New York by Sunday. Right now New York has ordered mandatory evacuation for 370,000 of its residents.

We caught up with 7&4's Storm Team Chief Meteorologist Mark Watkins Saturday, who is in New York City on a family vacation.
