ELK RAPIDS -- The Antrim County Sheriff is asking for the publics help in finding the person who started a fire that destroyed an Elk Rapids business.

On November 3, 2010, fire and police crews were called to a fully engulfed fire at Swift Audio on Ames Street.  The cause has been determined to be arson.

Officials say another arson investigation could be connected.  Two weeks before the fire at Swift Audio, an abandoned home was set on fire in Elk Rapids.

A reward of $5,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person involved.  Anyone with tips can call the Michigan Arson Prevention Committee at 1-800-442-7766 or D/Sgt. James Janisse of the Antrim County Sheriff's Office at 231-533-8627.   You can also call Silent Observer at 231-947-TIPS (8477).
