CADILLAC -- Investigators are releasing a sketch of a man who tried to abduct a student at Baker College in Cadillac.

The female student was approached by a man last week.  The woman says the man had a knife and told her to get into his car. The woman got away and the man ran off.

The suspect is described as a white man in is early 20's, 5'5" - 5'8" tall with a medium build.

The Sheriff's office is asking students and others to be aware of their surroundings at all times.

"If they're exiting the campus or their classes and going out into the parking lot, If they could just walk with two other people and kind of watch each other and if there's numbers like that, then this type of event would be very unlikely to happen," explained Sheriff Gary Finstrom.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Wexford County Sheriff's Office at 231-779-9211 or Silent Observer at 231-779-9215.
