Now that my son is safely back at his base in Japan (or at least he is on to his next secret adventure) , I can share a little bit about where he was.
He is a U.S. Marine and was taking part in the joint exercises on the S. Korea/N. Korea border last month. A scary place when I am reporting on all of the news updates with North Korea's reaction to the drills.
I am so proud of all he has accomplished, and am amazed at the physical endurance our troops go through.
