TRAVERSE CITY -- The Traverse City Commission will discuss a proposed anti-discrimination ordinance when it meets Tuesday evening.
The goal is to prevent gays, lesbians, and transgender from being fired from their job unfairly, kicked out of stores, or denied housing.
The City Commission meeting begins at 7:00 PM at the Governmental Center.
Twenty Michigan cities have already adopted ordinances like the one presented to Commissioners.
