TRAVERSE CITY -- State leaders are meeting with area business owners to discuss the threat Asian Carp pose to Northern Michigan's economy.

Michigan Attorney General Mike Cox and U.S. Representative Dave Camp will host the meeting at the Great Lakes Maritime Academy in Traverse City today.

Experts say if Asian Carp make it into the Great Lakes they could cause massive destruction to native fish and impact the fishing and other industries.

7 & 4 News will attend the conference and bring you all of the details tonight on 7 & 4 News at 5 and 6.
